Artist Statement: Baseball jargon is littered with age-old and amusing slang terms for different aspects of the game. Here's a quick selection of phrases meant to describe base hits and easy outs. You can look them up!

About the Artist: John Cole is an all-star, widely recognized and award-winning cartoonist and illustrator, who served as the longtime editorial cartoonist for The Herald-Sun (Durham, NC) and The Times-Tribune (Scranton, PA).
