Artist Statement: This NFT is one of a three-part series featuring an OWNMINE hockey stick coated in ice at center screen. The stick breaks through the ice, ready to be wrestled and face its opponent, the crackling sound of a stick slapping the ice reverberating throughout. The sticks are positioned against each other in celebration of the competitiveness of hockey, stick vs. stick, player vs. player, team vs. team.
